PSI’s 8.8-liter engine and an IC Bus.
PSI and Navistar’s IC Bus brand spotlighted their long-term partnership during the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) conference and trade show in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 2-5, 2019. Our 8.8-liter engine was featured in both gasoline and propane configurations in IC Bus’ booth, which was themed “The Power of Choice.” The features and benefits of both fuel types were highlighted.
PSI received positive feedback from dealers and other customers during the show regarding its products. The demand for PSI’s engines in the school bus market has been favorable.
The relationship between IC Bus and PSI dates back to 2015, when IC Bus first produced a bus powered by PSI’s 8.8-liter propane engine. The first bus with PSI’s 8.8-liter gasoline engine was released in 2018.
The NAPT conference and trade show is recognized as the premier school transportation conference in the U.S. The event offers informational sessions, hands-on training and networking opportunities for hundreds of school transportation professionals.
