Power Solutions International, Inc. (“PSI” or “the Company”) is proud to announce a new cooperative agreement with HD Hyundai Infracore (HDI), a global leader in engine manufacturing and infrastructure support. This collaboration adds a robust line of cutting-edge Tier 4 and Euro Stage V diesel engines to PSI’s existing range of industrial spark-ignited power solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Power Solutions International will market, develop, and distribute HDI’s industrial EPA Tier 4 and Euro Stage V diesel engine offerings throughout North America, as well as provide customers with integration services and turn-key power units. The agreement also includes the gasification development of certain HDI diesel engines, offering customers a “common block” solution for multiple fuel types, including LPG, Diesel, Gasoline, and Natural Gas.

This partnership allows PSI to broaden its ability to deliver a wider range of durable, high-performance engine solutions to industrial OEMs. PSI’s industrial engine solutions offer maximum power, performance, efficiency and uptime needed for rugged applications.

Several PSI products were featured during TCI Expo 2024 last month in Baltimore, Md.

OEMs spotlighting PSI engines in their products included Dyna Products, who featured a woodchopper powered by our 8.8-liter industrial engine, the most powerful off-road spark ignited engine in the market available today.

PSI’s patented 30kw lithium-ion all electric power unit was displayed by Morbark, who also featured its BVR 10 Model woodchipper, powered by PSI’s 2.4-liter gasoline engine.

Bandit showcased two woodchippers powered by PSI engines: its new 12XC woodchipper, which features the PSI 2.4-liter gasoline industrial engine; and the 12XP, which uses PSI’s 4.3-liter gasoline engine.

Hosted by the Tree Care Industry Association, the TCI Show features more than 250+ exhibitors.

PSI staff were present July 25 at the Port Newark Container Terminal in New Jersey when Tucker Perkins, president and CEO of the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC), presented the port with its Energy for Everyone Hero Award. The award recognizes the port’s adoption of terminal tractors manufactured by MAFI Transport-Systeme GmbH and powered by PSI’s 8.8-liter propane engine. MAFI terminal tractors support of the port’s rail operation.

Certified by both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for use in mobile, off-road applications, PSI’s 8.8-liter engine is one of the cleanest propane engines available on the market and delivers 245.4 hp and 515.5 lb-ft of torque.

The event highlighted the collaborative efforts of the port, MAFI and PSI to promote the safe, efficient use of propane gas through education and technological advancements. MAFI specializes in the development and production of heavy-duty vehicles for transporting containers, semi-trailers, cargo/roll trailers and special container chassis in ports and industry.
